How to Choose an Airport Pickup Service — Four Things to Check

Booking an airport pickup looks simple until something goes wrong: a delayed flight, a changed terminal, a chauffeur who cannot be reached. Four things separate a pickup you can stop thinking about from one you have to manage — and they are all worth checking before you hand over a card.

First, flight tracking. If your pickup plan does not adjust when your flight does, you are the dispatch system. LimoMass tracks every Logan flight in real time, so early arrivals and delays move the pickup without a phone call from the jet bridge, and a canceled or rescheduled flight means the booking is adjusted at no extra charge.

Second, wait grace. Flights do not deplane on schedule and baggage claim moves slowly, so a company that starts charging the minute you land is selling you stress. LimoMass allows 60 minutes of wait grace for airport arrivals, domestic and international alike, and 15 minutes for non-airport pickups; after that, wait time is billed at your vehicle’s hourly rate, prorated.

Third, fixed pricing. A quote that can move with traffic, weather, or demand is not a quote. LimoMass prices every trip flat by distance band — sedan from $110 and SUV from $150 for trips up to 15 miles (Stretch Limo and Van trips are quoted by phone) — with extra stops at $15 each and tolls and parking at cost. The number you see before you book is the fare, and gratuity is never added automatically.

Fourth, the meet point. Vague pickup instructions are how airport days go sideways. Confirm exactly where the chauffeur waits and how you will recognize them: LimoMass meets you at the designated meeting point with a name sign, and the $60 Meet & Greet add-on puts the chauffeur inside the terminal instead. For guests and executives, confirm who can change the booking and which phone number the chauffeur should use.

Two more checks cost nothing: vehicle fit and a human to reach. Make sure the car fits your party and bags — sedan for 3 passengers and 2 bags, SUVs for 6 and 5, stretch for 8 and 4, Van for 12 and 6 — and make sure a phone number reaches a person, not just an app. Book online for an instant fixed quote, or call (617) 483-5676 and ask these four questions before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

What should I confirm before I book an airport pickup?

Date, time, pickup point, destination, flight number, passenger and bag counts, the meet point, and the total price. With LimoMass you confirm all of it before you pay anything: the booking shows its fixed price first, and for airport trips your flight details drive the pickup plan.

Where will the driver meet me at the airport?

Your chauffeur will greet you at the designated meeting point with a sign displaying your name, unless otherwise arranged.

Do you track flight delays or early arrivals?

Yes. LimoMass monitors your flight in real time to ensure on-time pickup, even if your flight is delayed or arrives early.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or change free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup for trips inside Massachusetts, and up to 48 hours before pickup for trips outside Massachusetts. Cancellations inside those windows are charged the full fare. To cancel or change, call (617) 483-5676, email [email protected], or use Manage Booking on this site.

How long will my chauffeur wait?

We allow a grace period before wait time starts: 15 minutes for non-airport pickups, and 60 minutes for airport arrivals, domestic and international alike. After the grace period, wait time is billed at the hourly rate for your vehicle — $95 per hour for the Sedan, $115 for the Executive Sedan, $120 per hour for the SUV and $135 for the Executive SUV — prorated to the time waited.

How does payment work?

Every booking shows its fixed price before you confirm — the price you see is the price for the ride. Gratuity is never added automatically. Once online card payment is live on this site, the card you book with is the card any cancellation or no-show fee is charged to. Until then, bookings are reserved when you submit them and payment is arranged with us directly.
